The list of 'differently-abled' (a term I have now learnt from Adenike Oyetunde) athletes to represent Nigeria at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games has been released.
The games is slated for 7th through 18th September, 2016 and it is fascinating the hurdles these ones have overcome to represent their country at the Paralympics!
Nigeria will participate only in athletics, power-lifting and table-tennis and here are names of some of the 'paralympians' we are looking forward to cheer-leading, able-bodied, from the comfort of our homes:
