THE GOOD LOSS; 'LEPACIOUS' BOSE'S WEIGHT LOSS JOURNEY



Comedienne/actress, and now motivational speaker, Lepacious Bose, has been on this journey of shedding weight for a couple of years now. She has successfully cut down from size 32 to 14 and is still on her way to 12! See how easy that last statement is; but Bose makes us understand it isn't.
She lives off her journey on her Instagram page, carrying her followers along on her path to her dream size and sharing major tips on the journey. She believes anybody can be and do anything. Some of her posts and write-ups, below:

''Once upon a time, there lived a lonely sad princess hidden in a big bag! The bag was pretty and colourful but the little girl desperately wanted to come out and play. You see Everytime she tried to come out and play the bag would always be an hindrance and this made her so sad. Eventually she stopped trying and accepted her fate, the bag was happy she gave up and just grew bigger! The little girl named the bag BIG BOLD AND SASSY! 
Then one day, she realised she could fight against this sassy big bag and win, so she started the fight with all her strength, the bag was much bigger and stronger but this girl was now angry and more determined than ever...... O thou my Big, Bold and Sazzy bag, you were once a master to a kind spirited and lovely girl. You ruled and controlled every bit of me mercilessly, but today, the hunter has become the hunted. Your Kingdom has been shattered, your staff of office seized, you had me chained and imprisoned in my own dungeon of fear, terror, self condemnation and lack of confidence. Today, the little girl has sprang forth, blooming like the sun flower, shinning like a star, yet striking like the lighting. ''I really hope you guys can see the difference. The first time I wore that dress was sometime last year at the Miss curvy beauty pageant, I was a size 18/20, so got a tailor to slim it down to size 14, walahi the fabric she cut out was enough to make another dress lol. But here I am, rocking this body and loving it. Daily I dream of getting to size 12, it's getting harder and more scary but I know I will get there. When I hit that target heeeeyyyyyy henhen I don't know what I will do yet lol. 
I have come a long way from size 32, and am super grateful, who am I Lord that you are so MINDFUL of me, everything about me interests you Jehovah and am so amazed and your love. Indeed when God speaks, EVERYTHING hears, even our body.

''Despite all the success of this weightloss believe it or not, I have my low moments too; I am not bionic woman I am scared too. So yesterday I stood in front of the full length mirror and I felt bloated, all I could see was FAT! I have a dress target for August, tried the dress on but the zipper would not close and its 27th already! You see when it comes to weightloss you can't afford to do shakara! You can't be forming diva! You must prep and pack your meals every single day. The basket does not have to be classy or expensive, any basket will do, it is what is inside the basket that matters not the glamour of the look, although if you can afford a classy beautiful basket then by all means get it, the most important thing is to.....NEVER leave the house without knowing specifically what you are going to eat and drink all day. 1. Don’t eat sugar and avoid sugar-sweetened drinks
sugar is the KILLER!
Studies show that it has uniquely harmful effects on metabolic health, Sugar is half glucose, half fructose, and fructose can only be metabolized by the liver in any significant amount.
When you eat a lot of refined sugar, the liver gets overloaded with fructose, and is forced to turn it all into fat.
Numerous studies have shown that excess sugar, mostly due to the large amounts of fructose, can lead to increased accumulation of fat in the belly.
Some believe that this is the primary mechanism behind sugar’s harmful effects on health. It increases belly fat and liver fat, which leads to insulin resistance and a host of metabolic problems.
Liquid sugar is even worse in this regard. You see liquid calories don’t get “registered” by the brain in the same way as solid calories, so when you drink sugar-sweetened beverages, you end up consuming more calories without realising it.
